Gurcharan Roopra an automotive engineer who studied and worked in the UK for 10 years, is currently a director at Rock Plant Kenya Ltd; authorized dealers for Hitachi.
Born and raised in Nairobi, Kenya, he discovered, appreciated and respected Nature from an early age. This formed the birth of his interest in photography in an attempt to capture the experiences.
He spends every free minute outdoor with his lenses, capturing the wild.
He has won & featured as a finalist in multiple prestigious photography awards including Nature’s Best Africa and The Greatest Maasai Mara Competition.
His commitment to the cause of Pristine Earth and devotion to many conservation initiatives has seen him grace book covers of “Nomad magazine and Big Cat Trails”.
He now purposes to travel to the wilderness for more as he continues to develop and hone his skills to become one of the most noted nature photographers in Africa.
He is regularly invited to lead wildlife photography workshops in Kenya and beyond.
